  11. Make ready 3 large garlic cloves, roughly chopped
  12. Take 4 bay leaves

While shrimp is most commonly cooked in a low country boil, many prefer to add crab or crawfish to give this dish a Cajun flair. Fill a large stockpot with water and the juice of one or two lemons, plus beer, if desired. Anyway….so, to the water, add the entire packet of cajun seasoning and bring the water to a rolling boil.

    1. Spray slow cooker with cooking spray
    1. Add water, garlic, and crawfish boil seasoning. Stir well.
    1. Add potatoes, onion, celery, bay leaves, 1/2 lemon and 1/2 orange.
    1. Cook on HIGH 2 ½ hours.
    1. Add sausage and corn. Cook an additional hour.
    1. Stir in shrimp gently and cook 15-20 minutes or until shrimp are pink.
    1. Remove bay leaves before serving.

I find this works best when you set a timer! This boil is done best on an outdoor cooker. It has sausage, shrimp, crab, potatoes and corn for an all-in-one pot all-you-can-eat buffet!
